Heinz Ketchup has introduced what it’s calling a the “Pour-Perfect” bottle.

At first glance, the bottles look simply as though they’ve been given crooked labels.

But a video released this week by the company explains the labels are purposely designed to provide a visual guide to the perfect pouring angle.

Tip the bottle at the optimum angle, and the label looks level.

Just a marketing stunt? Perhaps. But apparently Heinz really made some of the bottles for the public to buy.

CNN reports the bottles are only available in Canada, and Fast Company reports the company is testing them for a limited time in Toronto.
