VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WSET) - As many Virginians are dealing with flash flooding, one Virginia Beach man took advantage of the flood outside his home Friday morning.

Frank Munson said he noticed splashing in the water at the front of his home.

He thought it was a turtle at first, but it turned out to be multiple fish swimming in the flooded street, reported WTVR.

“I still can’t figure out where they came from,” he said.

Munson said he dragged a cast net through the water and a fish swam right into it, but after snapping a photo, he let the fish go back in the water.
