BLIZZARD BRAWL 2019 Unites SuperFriends in Waukesha Dec. 7th

The first Saturday of December means one thing for local and indy wrestling fans: BLIZZARD BRAWL! Great Lakes Championship Wrestling returns to the Waukesha County Expo Center to present "BLIZZARD BRAWL 2019: Challenge of the SuperFriends" for a full night of professional wrestling action and excitement this Saturday, December 7th.

The event has been growing for years in the Milwaukee area thanks to GLCW Founder and Promoter David Herro. Now in its fifteenth edition, the Blizzard Brawl unites another all-star card for the event, which has made a name for itself around the country for its execution, featured talents, and dedication to classic professional wrestling for all ages. Many in the wrestling community have come to know the annual meetup in the Midwest as the Super Bowl of the independent pro wrestling circuit. Booking talent wasn't easy this year, as the recent resurgence of national promotions brought with it the signing of more independent talent to contracts that take the players off the board. Herro's reputation, friendships, and connections from years in the business came in handy when assembling this weekend's roster.

Meet and Greet Guests - WWE Hall of Famers -- Rikishi and The Godfather (Meet and Greet Tickets Only)

AEW's Shawn Spears and TBA vs. Sefa Fatu and Jacob Fatue, with his father, WWE Hall of Famer, Rikishi

AEW 's Luchasaurus Team vs. MLW 's Davey Boy Smith Jr Team

GLCW Ladies Title Match:
Former WWE Diva Champ, Melina Perez vs. GLCW Ladies Champ, ODB

Al Snow vs. Tommy Dreamer

AEW's Marko Stunt & Kal Herro vs. Former WWE star, Hornswoggle & Nick Colucci

ROH's Beer City Bruiser, former NWA World Champion Jax Dane, & Arik Cannon vs. Former TNA star, Jay Bradley and GLCW Tag Team Champions Ryan Kross & Jeff Luxon.

3 Way Dance:
Adam Grace vs. Joey Avalon vs. Backwoods Brown

Also featured on the card once again is Herro's son Kal Herro -- now a senior at Cedarburg High School, who has spent his young life in and around his father's squared circle events. The up-and-comer is paying his dues and honing his craft as he pursues a dream of working his way into a career in professional wrestling. He'll team with AEW's Marko Stunt to face former WWE star and fan favorite, Hornswoggle and Nick Colucci.

Blizzard Brawl offers a night of quality squared-circle entertainment, with refreshments options offered on site. Talent making appearances are typically available to sign autographs and take photos with fans for a nominal fee, and vendors offer an assortment of collectibles, gear, and more that any wrestling fan would love to take home. Thankfully, winter's chill hasn't fully ravaged the area just yet, but this Saturday night, Great Lakes Championship Wrestling is definitely bringing the Blizzard back to Waukesha and it's going to be a Brawl to remember!

Doors open at 5:30pm | Meet and Greets 6:00pm | Belltime 7:30pm

CW18's own SuperFriends will be in attendance to take pictures with fans and hand out exclusive CWag items including limited edition CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS mini posters, while supplies last. Drop by our photo booth, and be sure to meet RING OF HONOR's Beer City Bruiser and take a picture with the ROH Title Belt. It's going to be a slam-tastic night of fun in Waukesha!
