CWhat's Bringing Spring Sizzle to CW18 Primetime

In desperate need for some new show content in your life? You're certainly not alone. CW18 has you covered with all-new episodes of the current lineup, specials, AND premieres that will keep spring hopping with entertainment!

Unfortunately, the outbreak of COVID-19 put television and film productions in the same boat as the rest of us, bringing shoots and post production work to a screeching halt. As previously noted in our breakdown of the return to new episodes, the question marks surrounding everything we hold near and dear have made quite a mess of the final stretch of the normal broadcast season. While the majority shows have been touched and seasons have been shortened in the aftermath, there still are fresh adventures to experience with your favorite characters over the weeks and months to come. Let's breakdown important dates to keep an eye on CW18 prime happenings! **NOTE: Some mild spoilers follow if you're not caught up to date.

It all starts with season finale of NANCY DREW on Wednesday, April 15th at 8pm. Coming off the shocking discovery of a new murder case, the Drew Crew will work their final supernatural case of season one this week after this year's musical tribute episode of RIVERDALE. Don't miss Kevin's production of Broadway hit, Hedgewick and the Angry Inch, which will take Riverdale High by storm at 7pm.

Follow Murphy and her trusty canine helper, Pretzel, step by step into the shadows starting with the season two premiere of IN THE DARK Thursday, April 16th at 8pm. Perry Mattfeld returns as a messy twenty-something who struggles on a daily basis to balance her random hook ups, her hangovers, and her drug front. She’s also blind. Murphy lives with her supportive best friend, Jess, and along with their anal-retentive boss (and sometimes friend), Felix, they run Guiding Hope, a school for guide dogs. But solving the murder of her best friend, Tyson, lands Murphy deep in the world of Chicago’s underground heroin trade when she is forced to turn Guiding Hope into a front for drug kingpin Nia Bailey. Murphy tries to wrestle herself and everyone she cares about from Nia’s grasp, but ultimately plunges them into far deeper trouble than they bargained for.

The CW Summer series from over the pond, BULLETPROOF, moves into NANCY DREW's Wednesday slot at 8pm with an encore of first series episodes to get you caught up on the adventures of Bishop and Pike in East London ahead of the stateside premiere of series 2 this summer. May 1st conjures up the season's final spellbinding mission for the Vera sisters as they take their battle to the Faction on CHARMED at 7pm.

After a drama-filled and heart-wrenching senior year, the RIVERDALE gang calls it a season on Wednesday, May 6th at 7pm. You won't believe your eyes as the MASTERS OF ILLUSION: IMPOSSIBLE ESCAPES defies logic on Friday, May 8th at 7pm ahead of the glamorous season finale for the Carringtons on DYNASTY at 8pm.

THE FLASH and Mirror Master will see their clash conclude with the season finale on May 12th at 7pm. KATY KEENE's Big Apple exploits wrap on May 14th at 7pm, and Dean Cain returns to host a new year of magical Fridays with the MASTERS OF ILLUSION on May 15th.

The World's Finest are shutting down their coronvirus-shortened seasons as BATWOMAN and SUPERGIRL wrap for the season on May 17th starting at 7pm, paving the way for new seasons of three buzzy, female-lead series later in the week. The CW's newest superhero brings a new Earth and lineup of DC characters into the fold with the broadcast television debut of DC's STARGIRL on Tuesday, May 19th at 7pm. The new DC UNIVERSE drama series follows high school sophomore Courtney Whitmore (series star Brec Bassinger) as she inspires an unlikely group of young heroes to stop the villains of the past. This new drama reimagines Stargirl and the very first superhero team, the Justice Society of America, in an unpredictable series. It focuses on the character that started creator Geoff Johns’ career as a comic book writer when he created her in 1999, lovingly inspired by his late sister who was killed in a 1996 plane crash.

The following night, blast off to the deep reaches of space for the epic final season of cult-favorite, THE 100. The seventh season will take Clarke and company on their final journey starting May 20th at 7pm and will feature a backdoor pilot to a potential prequel series. And, since all good things come in trios, you are summoned for jury duty on an enticing new season of the Kristin Kreuk starrer BURDEN OF TRUTH on May 21st at 7pm.

If all of that wasn't enough, board the Waverider for one final mission through space and time with DC's LEGENDS OF TOMORROW. The Legends close their season-long battle with Hell's worst encores in the season finale on Tuesday, June 2nd.

All-new superheroes will suit up, stunning drama and twists will reign supreme, and strong heroines and talented tricksters will take the stage as CW18's brings new life to your screens 6 nights a week this spring!
