Five Stars of SUPERNATURAL Unite for Inaugural Wizard World Virtual Experience March 31st

Carry On, my Wayward Brothers and Sisters! The world may be on lockdown, but that's not stopping stars of SUPERNATURAL from uniting digitally for an interactive afternoon with fans on Tuesday, March 31st.

Wizard Entertainment, Inc., known for touring the nation with interactive fan-driven weekends under the banner of Wizard World™, is taking their event experience online. The first of its kind "Wizard World™ Virtual Experience" makes a "Supernatural" debut this Tuesday, March 31st at 2pm CT. Five fan favorite stars of the venerable series SUPERNATURAL will take part in the interactive afternoon which features a FREE live moderated video Q&A, accessible to virtual attendees on their computer and mobile devices via this meeting portal LINK. The FREE 30-minute panel features series standouts Mark Sheppard ("Crowley), Emily Swallow ("Amara aka The Darkness"), Ruth Connell ("Rowena"), Sebastian Roché ("Balthazar"), and Timothy Omundson ("Cain aka the Knight of Hell"), as they answer chat submitted questions. The event is open to all and does not require an entry fee to watch or submit questions.

Beyond the FREE panel event, there are pay options for fans to take advantage of during the Virtual Experience, including:

  • Participate in a personal, exclusive one-minute live video chat with each celebrity (paid)
  • Purchase a recorded video from any of the five, specifying the message if desired
  • Purchase an autograph either on an 8”x10” photo or custom exclusive 11”x17” lithograph designed specifically for this event (if purchasing a live video chat, the item can be signed during the session)

All of these opportunities are optional, available now, and will not affect the ability to enjoy the FREE panel at 2pm CT. More details on the entire event can be found on WizardWorld.com.

SUPERNATURAL's final season recently hit a snag due to the outbreak of COVID-19. The Pandemic has shutdown production on many series and movies in both the United States and around the Globe. SUPERNATURAL films in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Despite a couple of new episodes returning to The CW Primetime schedule as planned on March 16th, an announcement was soon made by Showrunner Andrew Dabb that production had already been halted on March 13th.

Dabb has assured fans that production on the final two episodes of the series will eventually resume to wrap up the story spanning a 15-season run.

"We, The CW, and Warner Bros fully intend to return and finish the series. It's not a matter of "if", it's a matter of "when."

The concept is to give fans stuck at home and away from the usual convention centers a chance to unite during troubled times and give them a unique opportunity to indulge in their fandom and celebrate Pop Culture programming and icons from the safety of their own homes. Additional Virtual Experience dates and celebrity groups will be announced as they are formed. Though subject to change amidst the uncertain climate we all face, Wizard World™ Chicago is currently slated to return to the region August 20-23, 2020. Among the guests scheduled are CW18 favorites of past and present: Alyson Hannigan (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, How I Met Your Mother, Penn & Teller: Fool Us), James Marsters (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Smallville) , Alexis Denisof (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, How I Met Your Mother), Emily Swallow (Supernatural, The Mandalorian), Craig Parker (Reign, Charmed), and Phil LaMarr (Supergirl).
