The Cast of THE 100 Bids Farewell Ahead of the Series Finale

After seven seasons that traversed time and space, THE 100 ends its war-fueled run with episode #100 TONIGHT -- Wednesday, September 30th -- on CW18.

The little sci-fi show amassed a dedicated and boisterous fanbase over its run and spawned fan conventions, charity efforts, and fan art galore. It debuted in March of 2014 and found a home in the midseason and summer lineups of The CW's programming schedules. Season one of THE 100 saw the human race return, after a 97-year exile in space, to a wildly transformed Earth... only to discover that the human race had never truly left. Clarke (Eliza Taylor) found herself forced to lead a band of “disposable” juvenile delinquents as they faced death at every turn: from a world transformed by radiation, from the fierce Grounders who somehow managed to survive in it, and, perhaps worst of all, from themselves. Surviving was no easier a task for the adults and others who lived aboard The Ark, a space station overlooking the planet humans had once made near inhabitable.

In-fighting and clashes with new groups over the series' run have made those who have made it to the finale road-weary, hardened survivors who have made choices and carried out actions that at one time would be unthinkable. The power struggle that plagues mankind has taken the tale's heroes to the darkest corners of humanity and pushed them to their very brink. After heading to new worlds in search of peace and a new beginning, Clarke, Olivia (Marie Avgeropolous), Bellamy (Bob Morley), Raven (Lindsey Morgan), Murphy (Richard Harmon) and the other survivors spent season 7 unravelling the mysteries of the Anomaly in an epic journey that pushes them to their limits both physically and emotionally, challenging their long-held conceptions of family, love, and sacrifice. Ultimately, our heroes must answer for themselves what it means to truly live, and not just survive.

As the journey comes to a close with a potential prequel series' fate still undecided by the network, the cast, crew, and creator are taking to social media to share their messages with the fans.

See what they're saying and prepare yourself for The Last War. The final battle awaits. Is humanity worthy of something greater?
